Cedar Bend Farm is in an ideal location for your vacationing needs. Just around the corner is Schuss Mountain which is prime in the winter time and the Jordan River for canoeing. We are a 30-45 minute drive from Torch Lake, Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Charlevoix, Boyne Highlands and more tourist destinations without the massive expense of a hotel!

Cedar Bend also offers activities on the property from volleyball courts to cross-country skiing; there are plenty of ways to keep the family entertained.

It truly is lake country in Northern Michigan. We are surrounded by several lakes for you to choose from:
Torch Lake, Twin Lake, Lake Michigan, Lake Charlevoix, and more! Some require a lengthier drive, but if you're willing, they're ready for ya!
LAKIN' AROUND
Are you an avid snowboarder or skier​?
Schuss Mountain is minutes away. Not your cup of tea? No problem! Boyne Highlands is only a 20 minute drive.
We also offer sledding/tubing and cross-country skiing for those not wanting to hit the slopes.
KAYAKING
The Jordan River is only a 15 minute drive away for your canoeing or kayaking needs! Rentals available through Jordan Valley Outfitters or Swiss Hideaway Canoes - or bring your own!
